Voyagers: Growing independence from 2.5 to 3 years
As children move into the Voyagers room, their curiosity and independence continue to grow. At this stage, they begin to engage more deeply with activities and develop longer periods of concentration.
The environment introduces more structured Montessori materials that support early maths, language and practical life skills. Activities such as pouring, sorting, matching and simple problem solving help children build coordination, focus and confidence.
Children are encouraged to make choices about their learning, helping them develop a sense of responsibility and ownership. They begin to take pride in completing tasks and caring for their environment.
This stage is an important bridge between early exploration and more focused learning.
Inventors: Preparing for the next stage from 3 to 5 years
In the Inventors room, children are ready to engage with more complex activities that challenge their thinking and deepen their understanding.
