Children have access to a range of reading materials and the opportunity to read by themselves and with an adult, to engage them in learning to read.

Creative Development

We provide opportunities for the children to explore their imagination in dance, music and role play, as well as more traditional arts and crafts.

Knowledge & Understanding of the World

We provide the children with opportunities to use a range of tools safely, and encounter creatures, people, plants, and objects in their natural environments and work with a range of materials.

Problem Solving, Reasoning & Numeracy

Children start to develop an interest in numbers and counting, making comparisons, sorting and matching objects and beginning to recognise numbers and shapes.

Key person and your relationship

A key-person takes responsibility for the provision of care for a small number of children who are allocated to them. They only work with children of the same abilities and needs to ensure they can spend their time doing activities appropriate for their level of development.

Staff Responsibilities

Our team knows that their number one priority is to ensure your child feels safe, secure, and supported. We take pride in ensuring we treat each child as an individual and help them to develop at their own pace. We also have staff assigned with specific responsibilities for behavior, child protection, equality & diversity, and special needs.

Nurture Childcare offers a wide range of activities and events for our children to encourage the development of skills that will help them as they attend school and interact with those in their community.

What Our Families are Saying

"Initially, I was worried that my little boy would not be happy. I was surprised to find he loved going to the nursery. It is a family-run business and it shows - they care and support not only the children but also the parents."
