Welcome to the Inventors Room
Our Inventors room is for children aged 36 months and above. This is a time when children become eager thinkers, problem solvers and creators. The Montessori environment supports these skills naturally and joyfully.
A Calm and Purposeful Environment
The room is spacious, beautifully arranged and filled with Montessori materials that invite children to work independently. Soft colours and natural textures help children remain focused and calm. Every shelf and activity is chosen to support meaningful learning.

In the Inventors room, children explore all areas of the Montessori curriculum.
Practical Life
Children prepare food, clean their tables, care for plants and take responsibility for their environment. These activities build independence and self discipline.
Sensorial Development
Children work with materials that refine their senses and help them classify the world around them. These materials prepare the mind for reading, writing and mathematics.
Mathematics
Golden beads, number rods and spindle boxes give children a tangible understanding of number, quantity and early operations.
Language
Children explore phonics, sandpaper letters, early writing and storytelling. Language work is joyful and full of meaning.
Cultural and Cosmic Education
Children learn about continents, weather, animals, science and the interconnectedness of the world.
Preparing for School with Confidence
Montessori school readiness is natural rather than forced. Children learn to concentrate, solve problems, work independently and manage their emotions. These skills support a smooth and confident transition to formal schooling.
Physical Development and Outdoor Learning
Swimming remains part of the weekly routine. Children develop strength, coordination and confidence in the water. Our outdoor area provides opportunities for gardening, nature exploration and physical play.
Skilled Montessori Educators
Inventors are supported by a qualified Montessori teacher and Montessori trained assistants. The team uses careful observation to guide learning at each child’s pace. Our on site Health Visitor is also available to support children’s wellbeing and development.
Emotional Security
The Key Person approach continues to play an important role. Each child has a trusted adult who understands their learning style, their confidence levels and their emotional needs.
Parent Partnerships
Montessori Learning Journals allow parents to follow their child’s journey, from early reading to scientific discovery. These records celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.
